Hauptbahnhof Berlin
Berlin Hauptbahnhof is the name of the new central railway station in Berlin.
The Hauptbahnhof railway station was created by architect Meinhard von Gerkan and put into operation on 28th May 2006.

The Hauptbahnhof railway station offers on three floors a 15.000 square
metres floorspace for 80 shops in the sectors of men and women
clothing, restaurants, supermarkets, presents, and health/wellness. The
shops are open from 8:00am to 10:00pm.
There is also a floorspace of 21.000 square metres for office rooms.
According to the reports of the German railway, 30 mio people visited
the new Hauptbahnhof in Berlin in the first 100 days after opening.
From the daily 300.000 visitors, 150.000 to 200.000 were passengers.
